Schwarze Tinte Collab Stout. Advent Beer Calendar day five.
500 ml/16.9 oz. • 6.2% abv. • ****
The pour looks like root beer. Roasted malts and hints of chocolate are understated on both the nose and tongue. The mouthfeel is medium and slightly oily. There isn't much of a finish.
It's difficult to screw a stout up. If this were some other style of beer, however, it's likely I would have knocked a star off.
(It's difficult to tell from the can who collaborated on brewing this. According to Beer Advocate, it appears to be Tölzer Mühlfeldbräu and Hopfenkopf Brau.)
