The pour delivers a clear yellow body with a thin white head. Clean, crisp, grainy nose leads into...
caramel, grains, and a bit of earthiness on the tongue. Medium mouthfeel leads into... medium finish of lightly leafy bitterness. As it warms, some butterscotch candy sneaks into the finish. Initially, I rated it 3½ (out of five) stars, but as it warmed it became a bit more complex and enjoyable, so finally landed on a four-star rating.
