FISH

I am the fish
and I eat the fish

I am red fish
and I am blue fish

I am dead fish
bones

and days later
I am new fish

swimming with
vigor

propelled
by a scarred
and torn

but no longer
crippled fin

for your plate
I am not

but for your
heart I am

in fact I am
who I am

which is
the fish I am

I am the fish
and I eat the fish
