Will & Harper (2024) directed by Josh Greenbaum. It's a road trip buddy film, with an existential underpinning. It asks questions, but in a gentle way. It plays a bit too light with the hateful moments of others. There is a scene that makes me absolutely uncomfortable for Harper and the vulnerability she feels. Ultimately, though, it's a film with heart. Tender and loving. And it reminds me a bit of
My Dinner with Andre, which is a good thing.
Streaming on Netflix.
